KRYSTAL REGISTER, MS, RD, State Public Relations and Media Chair
Krystal promotes the visibility of the RD/DTR as the nutrition expert in Virginia by providing information to both the public and the news media on the goals and activities of VDA and its members. She provides support and materials for the five district media reps for their own media campaigns and coordinates and publicizes National Nutrition Month events statewide.

NANCY FARRELL, RD, State Public Policy Media Representative
Nancy increases the visibility of the RD/DTR to make stakeholders aware of the expertise and contributions of RD/DTR’s to the health of Virginians as a strategy toward achieving improved 
professional recognition. She works with the media directly on policy issues and networks with district media reps to increase recognition of RD’s as the nutrition experts by legislators and allied professionals.
