ABOUT US Davenport Nutrition Group is a specialized, well-established private practice in the Washington, DC area, providing weight-inclusive nutrition counseling for eating disorders and disordered eating, Intuitive Eating, and child and family feeding. We work with children, adolescents, families, and adults, and we're looking for a dietitian who shares our commitment to compassionate, non-diet, evidence-based care. QUALIFICATIONS Credentials: Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR), licensed (or willing to obtain licensure) in Washington, DC and Maryland. CEDS through iaedp is a plus. Experience: Minimum of 1 year treating eating disorders, with the ability to work with adolescents and adults. Flexibility to see patients after 5:00 pm, 1–2 days a week. Subspecialty (a plus, not required): experience in one or more of the following — sports nutrition, family/child feeding, type 2 diabetes, or GI disorders. Philosophy: strong alignment with Intuitive Eating and a HAES®, weight-inclusive, non-diet approach to care. Skills: Proficient with EMR/computer systems for documentation.
